Samsung said to launch smartphone with foldable display this year

Previously, speculations were rife that Samsung is planning to sell 60 million Galaxy S8 smartphones this year. The well-known brand makes cases for iPhones and Samsung Galaxy smartphones, and the render in question shows a Galaxy S8 smartphone inside one of the company's Atomic 3 waterproof cases.

We initially heard about the Galaxy X in May previous year, when reports indicated that we would see the first flexible display smartphone from Samsung in 2017.

Display. Based on the leaks and rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will have a bigger screen display.

You just can not deny that many smartphone users were excited to check out the foldable display Samsung devices. Last week at CES 2017 the company's United States president, Tim Baxter, said the company will soon release a report detailing the results of its investigation into what exactly went wrong with the phone.

According to a report from The Investor, industry sources say we won't see the Galaxy S8 until mid-April this year. The LTE-capable model of the unit has also received its certification.

"In terms of specs, we expect the Galaxy C5 Pro to feature a 5.2" or 5.5" sized 1080p resolution display and run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 octa-core SoC. It will also host many other features like iris scan, fingerprint scan, face scan, a palm pattern and also biometric authentication.

The Galaxy Note 8's official release date has not been revealed by Samsung, but speculations are high among fans and analysts alike that the flagship phablet would be revealed sometime in the second half of 2017. We know one will be the main handset and the second will be a larger version, just like last year's Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. Both the phones will have dual screen and flat screen on each side. If users report no issues with the software, Samsung should quickly proceed to sending Android Nougat to more handsets. The company was awarded a patent for a next generation, fold-out smartphone, according to a report from Patently Mobile. It allows the users to fold the smartphone like a flip phone.
