Apple to cut iPhone production by 10% in Q1 2017

Apple iPhone 8 Leak

Many sites have reportedly claimed that Apple might equip iPhone 8 with an OLED panel but the recent rumors hint at only one variant to be seen sporting OLED screen.

Also, it was rumored for a while that Apple is working on next versions of their iPhone however, the reports said those versions will not have same specifications.

Interestingly, Apple had already reduced the initial production orders of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus by 20 percent to avoid a similar situation to that of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. The move of the tech giant depicts that the company did not experience iPhone 7 sales as expected. According to renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the top-tier model will feature exotic technology like a flexible OLED screen measuring 5.1 or 5.2 inches, invisible Touch ID home button, wireless charging and a "glass sandwich" enclosure.

According to other reports, the premium unit might come with a curved display.

Apple is known to update its signature devices every year and backtracking the footsteps next year the company is to launch the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus. After a thorough quality check, the output will increase gradually increase in either May or June.

Apple jumping to a 5.8-inch display comes as a surprise, since the company has mocked larger phones in the past. With the new device Apple may be planning to provide potential customers with a choice between the existing 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch options. It is rumored that iPhone's 5 inch model will have dual lens camera along with iSight modules that would be arranged vertically instead of horizontally. That being said, you can expect more rumors surrounding iPhone 8 within the next few months. However, the camera sensors will be placed in a vertical design. Furthermore, Apple is finalizing the designs of the smartphone, and the work is in the final stage.
