Indian cricketers defend Mohammed Shami over trolls on wife Hasin Jahan

Cricketers often get criticized when the fail to perform on field but Indian speedster Mohammed Shami received enormous amount of criticism after posting a picture of himself with wife Hasin Jahan.

Mohammed Shami replied, "My wife and daughter are a part of my life and I exactly know what to do and what not to do for them". Shami had posted a photo with his on his Facebook page on Friday captioned "beautiful moments", and in the photo, Shami's wife Hasin Jahan is seen wearing a sleeveless gown.

Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami has shut down trolls after coming under fire for sharing a family photo on social media. As a Muslim, keep your wife in purdah (covered clothing). He tweeted, "The comments are really really Shameful". As a response to this backlash, an army of Shami's proclaimed defenders rose up on Facebook and Twitter, shaming the trolls, assuring him that his wife looks lovely (gee, thanks), and calling the trolls "Islamic pigs".

One Twitter user wrote: "Shame on you".

He tweeted in support of Shami calling all the people as senseless who trolled his picture and made unethical comments on it.

Shami had missed the fourth and fifth Test against England after picking up a right knee injury in the third Test. He also reminded the netizens that people need to look into themselves to know how good they are.

Earlier Tennis star Sania Mirza too have faced similar bashing on social media over her religion and decision of marrying Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik.
